“I have waited for your salvation, O LORD!” (Genesis 49:18)
BRO.C.PRADEEP DANIEL from God’s presence
Dear beloved children of God, I greet you in the sweet name of Jesus Christ. The God we serve is an Almighty One. Nothing is impossible for Him. So, do not be dismayed, God will open a new door for you today.
First of all, you need to know about yourself. God says in Isaiah 43:4 “Since you were precious in My sight, you have been honored and I have loved you”. You are precious in God’s sight. Do not think that God has forgotten you because certain things in your life are being delayed. I tell you something very important today. Jesus will give answer to every question on your mind. It is a matter of time. Wait in His presence today and He will give you a perfect answer. That’s what the Psalmist says in Psalm 40:1 “I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me, and heard my cry”.
From the scriptures, we read about Abraham. When he was ‘ABRAM’ and Sarai his wife was barren, God gave the promise that He would multiply his descendants as countless stars in the sky. When Abram was 86 years old, Hagar, Sarai’s handmaid, bore to him Ishmael (Gen 16). Even though Abram believed the promise of God and it was accounted to him as righteousness, he did not wait for God’s appointed time and so bore Ishmael through Sarai’s handmaid. God appeared once again to Abram at the age of 99 and reassured His promise to him and changed his name to ‘ABRAHAM’. God confirmed to Abraham that He would not establish His covenant with Ishmael (Gen 17:18) but with Isaac whom Sarah would bore to him at the set time the very next year (Gen 17:21). If we take a decision in flesh, we will end up in trouble. You and I need to have the patience to wait for God’s appointed time for things to happen. Let us hope, today might be that appointed day of the Lord for good events to take place in our lives.
